Welcome to the 2010 Cruise Website

Hola!

I created this site during of one of my down times at work.  I know that Curt is going to laugh at me for "Planning" way in advance but this is something that I enjoy doing. So stop laughing at me and shaking your head in dismay Curt.

Back to business: Since the trip is open to everyone and as of today we have a total 50+ people that are interested I had to find a way to save money on postage and printing.  So I decided to create a website that is dedicated to the cruise.    Now I know from past experience that 50 people interested does not mean 50 people going so I hope that you show your support for the 2010 Cruise!!

Everything regarding the cruise will be on this site.  So please log on frequently for updates.  I am not going to send out any newsletters so if you want information you will have to access this site.

The picture above is the Blue Hole, Lighthouse Reef.  It is approximately 60 miles (100 kilometers) from Belize City, the almost perfectly circular Blue Hole is more than 1,000 feet (305 meters) across and some 400 feet (123 meters) deep.

The hole is the opening to what was a dry cave system during the Ice Age. When the ice melted and the sea level rose, the caves were flooded, creating what is now a magnet for intrepid divers. Today the Blue Hole is famed for its sponges, barracuda, corals, angelfish—and a school of sharks often seen patrolling the hole’s edge.   Keep this tourist attraction in mind when we dock in Belize City.

You can browse the many pages of this site by clicking on the menu buttons on the top left hand corner.   Enjoy!  Oh - below is the countdown in months and days!!!
